This program is primarily suited for individuals who cannot safely carry a pregnancy, families with repeated implantation failure or miscarriage, those of advanced maternal age, cancer survivors requiring surrogacy, and single men, gay male couples, single women, and lesbian couples. It is also designed for international families, offering remote consultations, Chinese medical record management, cross-border sample shipping, and birth travel coordination. If you already have usable embryos and the process runs smoothly, it typically takes 3–4 months from signing to transfer. After successful transfer, delivery follows in about 8.5 months. The full timeline also includes initial matching, screening, legal preparation, and—if needed—the time to create embryos. If a transfer fails and a replacement surrogate is needed, the total time will extend accordingly.

It depends on where your sperm, eggs, or embryos are stored, as well as clinic and legal document requirements. Most phases can be completed remotely via video, including plan discussions and pre-transfer preparation. However, you will generally need to travel to the US at least once for the baby's birth, hospital delivery, and document processing. If you need to undergo egg retrieval or transfer in the US, you may need to travel at least one to two additional times.

After the baby is born, the RSMC team assists with the birth certificate and certified copies, US Social Security number/card, and US passport. Depending on the parents' identity and circumstances, you may apply through the Chinese Embassy or Consulate for a travel document or visa. After returning home, further administrative steps such as household registration may be required, and our team provides process guidance.
